All solutions incorporate ASSURE color-coded pH indicator technology. The end user is assured, by visual inspection that the solution is at correct dilution and pH. These products are specially formulated for superior pH stability at high temperature, and will help prevent the possibility of losing pH-sensitive antigens. The solutions can deparaffinize and heat retrieve using a two-step procedure. The retrieval solutions also block endogenous peroxidase and reduce non-specific background. HIER solutions are sodium azide and thimerosal free and can be stored at room temperature. Sold with or without steam monitor strips.

Universal Decloaker^TM
Universal Decloaker is a non-toxic, non-flammable and odorless antigen retrieval solution. Universal Decloaker reduces nonspecific background staining, blocks endogenous peroxidase, and removes mercury crystals. Antibody titers are doubled when compared to citrate buffer, pH 6.0 and background staining is reduced significantly. Universal Decloaker is used in conjunction with Aqua DePar and the Decloaking Chamber.

Reveal^TM
Reveal is a specially formulated heat-retrieval solution. It is used in conjunction with Biocare Medical's Decloaking Chamber. Reveal is non-toxic, nonflammable and odorless. Antibody titers are increased compared to citrate buffer, pH 6.0 and background staining is reduced significantly. Reveal also blocks endogenous peroxidase and mercury crystals.

Borg^TM Decloaker^TM
Borg Decloaker is non-toxic, non-flammable and odorless. Tissues can be deparaffinized and then placed into the Borg Decloaking solution in the Decloaking Chamber or other heating methods. In most cases, antibody titers will increase compared to other heat-retrieval buffers.

Diva Decloaker^TM
Eliminates the need for multiple buffers including citrate, EDTA or high pH Tris. Antibody titers are doubled and tripled when compared to citrate buffer.Diva Decloaker is non-toxic, non-flammable and odorless.

Hot Rinse^TM
Clarifying reagent to be used with Reveal, Borg or Universal Decloaker.

Aqua DePar^TM
Aqua DePar is a water-soluble deparaffinization reagent which can be used for IHC, H&E's, and Special Stains. Paraffin is completely dissolved by this non-flammable and non-hazardous, safe-to-use solution. Eliminates the use of xylenes and alcohols, which saves money and avoids toxic waste. Aqua DePar can be used with a two-step deparaffinization retrieval protocol using Reveal, BORG or Universal Decloaker.

Dewaxing and Clearing Reagent

Slide Brite
A non-hazardous alternative to xylene for the deparaffinization and clearing of tissue sections. The flash point for this reagent is above 140°F, double that of xylene. Slide Brite has been designated non-hazardous on the basis of aquatic toxicity.
